We understand that counseling is not a “one size fits all” experience. Because of this, we want to provide you with information that may be used to assist in identifying an appropriate counselor or center for you.  


Uwill

Student Mental Health & Wellness

We are pleased to announce a partnership with Uwill, a leading student mental health and wellness teletherapy service. Uwill offers students an immediate, secure, and convenient way to receive teletherapy counseling services should the need arise.

To schedule teletherapy:
Register/login to Uwill and choose a therapist based on your preferences including availability, issue, gender, language, ethnicity. You can also choose a time that fits your schedule with day, night and weekend availability.

Access is quick and easy. You can register and book your first session in just minutes. This service is free to enrolled students. Once registered, you are approved for three sessions. If there is still a need for counseling after the the third session, you can make a request for another through your Uwill account.

Uwill is Private. Secure. Confidential.

ECU Campus Counseling Resources

ECU PASS Clinic

The mission of the Pass Clinic is to be a center of excellence in training psychologists. We are a non-profit psychology clinic associated with the ECU Doctoral Program in Health Psychology. The Clinic provides behavioral health services to ECU faculty and staff, as well as the surrounding community, while also providing supervised training for graduate student clinicians.

Family Therapy Clinic

The goal of the East Carolina University Family Therapy Clinic is to provide an opportunity for teaching and learning among professionals and students, and to provide high-quality services to families, couples, and individuals. By offering direct services to the public, the Clinic helps to bridge the gap between theory and practice and provides a unique service to the Greenville community and surrounding areas.

McClammy Counseling & Research Lab

The McClammy Counseling and Research Laboratory is an on-campus clinical training facility with individual and group counseling rooms. The McClammy Counseling and Research Laboratory offers free individual, couple and family counseling sessions, and on occasion also conduct group counseling programs.

Student Health Services: Psychiatric and Behavioral Health Services

ECU Student Health Services (SHS) offers comprehensive health care to enrolled students. SHS specializes in the well-being of ECU students and offers medication for various mental health concerns and counseling services with a behavioral health consultant.

Thriving Campus 

Thriving Campus is an online database that houses a list of off-campus licensed counselors in Eastern North Carolina. These counselors have identified ability and interest in working with college students. Visit Thriving Campus online to get started. Contacting Your Insurance 

If you have private insurance, on the back of your insurance card you will find a customer service line. You can call this number and speak with a representative to identify various resources in your area that accept your insurance, learn about copays, and more.

International Therapy

The International Therapist Directory is an online global listing of professional therapists, counselors, psychologists, and psychiatrists interested in providing culturally sensitive cross-cultural treatment and care for today’s international expat community. Over 250 therapists in at least 35 countries are listed in the directory.

The directory is intended to be a resource for internationals looking for a culturally sensitive therapist and for therapists to identify and connect with one another for peer support and professional development. Most therapists listed speak English. For a nominal annual membership fee, therapists may list their practice in the directory and access a private forum for therapists to share information.
